Design / Build
Peter Basso Associates provides our services through a variety of project delivery methods, including design/build arrangements.
Working through the architect as the owner’s representative, Basso develops criteria for the project and the M/E/P systems, providing the basis for final design for the contractor. In this arrangement, we work closely with the owner to select their most desirable solution prior to final design by the contractor. We often continue our role by providing peer review as the system design is finalized and constructed by the contractor, allowing the owner to be confident that the original design intent is not being compromised.
Basso also performs design/build services working directly with the contractor to provide M/E/P design and construction expertise. We are often invited to the design/build team when the project involves a technically challenging system. In this case, our expertise can provide a competitive advantage during the selection process.
